MARKEDZoey Redbird's world is very much like our own, except that vampyres have always existed. She is sixteen-years-old and having a typical day in school when she notices a Tracker standing beside her locker.
Never really believing the Tracker is hunting for her, Zoey is genuinely shocked when the Tracker Marked her a fledgling vampyre. This means a crescent moon scar appears on Zoey's forehead and she has less than a day to reach the House of Night, a private boarding school for fledgling vampyres.
Zoey's mother is no help. Her step-father all but hates her. Zoey goes to her Cherokee grandmother for help, but gets hurt along the way.
While unconscious, Zoey has a vision from Nyx, the Vampire Goddess, who informs Zoey that she is very special and has been chosen to be the eyes and ears of Nyx.
When Zoey awakens, she is with her grandmother at the House of Night.
Neferet is the High Priestess of the House of Night, as well as her new Mentor.
Unlike before the vision, Zoey's crescent moon mark is now filled in.
This is unheard of before going through The Change. Zoey soon learns that she has some amazing powers, yet no understanding of how to use them.
It turns out that Zoey is a very powerful vampire, that the hottest guy in school has a crush on her .
Zoey is not the only fledgling in school with special powers.
Aphrodite is the leader of the Dark Daughters. She is in training to be a High Priestess; and Zoey has made Aphrodite's black list without even trying. Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage she needs to fulfill her destiny - with a little help from her new vampyre friends.

BETRAYED
Betrayed, the second book in the House of Night series, picks up where Marked left off--Zoey, newly Marked as a vampyre fledgling, must take up her new duties as Leader of the Dark Daughters.
Along with her good friends Stevie Rae, Erin, Shaunee, and Damien, Zoey wants to find a new direction for the group after the ouster of nemesis Aphrodite.
Amid all the stress of drama of perfecting a circle casting, Zoey's love life is also in turmoil.
She finds herself attracted to not just two boys, but also a very sexy young professor who seems to be attracted to her as well.
There's her almost ex boyfriend Heath, who she's imprinted with and who's blood she craves, Zoey's Vampyre Superman, upper classman Eric Night .
And to help complicate matters, Zoey seems to be connecting on a very personal level with part time teacher and poet Loren Blake who is as amazing as he is forbidden.
Zoey has taken over leadership of the Dark Daughters and Sons, and is determined to change the school oganization from an elitist clique to a group with meaning, value and substance.
She is getting comfortable in her skin and things are getting easier to deal with. But Zoey's strength is about to be tested again.
In new and truly terrible ways.
She must learn to cope with a soul deep sadness, deal with a betrayal that cuts to the bone, and keep a promise that may turn out to be impossible.

UNTAMED
Zoey isn't having the best of weeks. All her friends are mad at her. They felt betrayed by the fact that Zoey was keeping secrets from them.
They just didn't understand she was trying to keep them safe. She didn't have a boyfriend anymore.
Last week, she had 3! But Loren Blake, the adult Vampyre Poet Laureate, seduced Zoey into thinking he was in love with her. Neferet, the evil High Priestess, had set up Zoey.
And when she was with Loren, the imprint she had with her human boyfriend, Heath, was broken. In addition, Erik Night, the gorgeous fledgling that had just made his transformation to adult Vamp, walked in on them.
Heath isn't speaking to Zoey and now, neither is Erik. This was all before Loren was killed in a bizarre ritual that was causing Neferet to wage a war against the humans. So, yes. Zoey's life sucks alot right now.
The campus is full of raven mockers , the high priestess of all Vampyre high priestesses is currently in residence at the school, there's a new guy at the House of Night, and Eric's back and teaching Zoey's Drama class.
In addition to all that stress, Zoey is also dealing with the Stevie Rae/Aphrodite issue.
By casting her circle for Stevie Rae, she is no longer undead, but has transformed into some kind of other vampyre.
Her mark is now colored in just like the adult vamps, but it is red. But with Stevie Rae gaining her humanity back, it caused Aphrodite to lose her mark.
Now she is no longer a vampyre, although only Zoey and Stevie Rae know. But she is still having visions. And now her visions include Zoey's death and an all out war between the vampyres and the humans. And it looks like it is up to Zoey to stop it.

HUNTED
What if the hottest guy in the world was hiding a nameless evil, and all he wanted was you?
Zoey’s friends have her back again and Stevie Rae and the red fledglings aren’t Neferet’s secrets any longer. But an unexpected danger has emerged. Neferet guards her powerful new consort, Kalona, and no one at the House of Night seems to understand the threat he poses. Kalona looks gorgeous, and he has the House of Night under his spell. A past life holds the key to breaking his rapidly spreading influence, but what if this past life shows Zoey secrets she doesn’t want to hear and truths she can’t face?
On the run and holed up in Tulsa’s Prohibition-era tunnels, Zoey and her gang must discover a way to deal with something that might bring them all down. Meanwhile, Zoey has a few other little problems. The red fledglings have cleaned up well – they’ve even managed to make the dark, creepy tunnels feel more like home – but are they really as friendly as they seem? On the boyfriend front, Zoey has a chance to make things right with super-hot ex-, Eric, but she can’t stop thinking about Stark, the archer who died in her arms after one unforgettable night, and she is driven to try to save him from Neferet’s sinister influence at all costs. Will anyone believe the power evil has to hide among us?
